We talked to Eric Serra at the Grand Scores 2016 in Berlin. He received a lifetime achievement award on February 9th, 2016.

Unfortunately the venue was very loud, so the sound is not so clear for 7 minutes, after that our recording with a Sennheiser microphone worked pretty well.
